How To Fix It — Go back to square one and look at who your audience is. Try new methods in your post. Use a strong visual that captures attention with a caption that makes people want to comment back. Don’t try to sell too much. Show of your brands personality and make it personal.

2. Your Strategy Is On The Back Burner.

Take 5 minutes right now and think about your strategy. Do you have an end goal? Do you have short-term goals? Is there a reason why you are using a specific platform? Do you know how you are planning on building more engagement?

However there is no “right” answer of how much time you should be spending on your social media campaign. But if you take a look at what other marketers are doing, , 64% of them say suggest you dedicate 6 hours per week on social media campaigns. Now this is just a ballpark number so if you are anywhere close to it then you are on the right track.

How To Fix It — Review Step 2. — A good strategy will help you reduce the amount of time you spend on your campaigns. If you have a social media team, assign tasks and make sure everyone is on the same page.

5. There Is No Call To Action

Engagement is good but how good is it if no one is taking action?

The ultimate goal of a social media campaign is to get prospective customers from your social account to your landing page, so they can buy products or services.

So if your conversions are way down on your objectives, you need to make a change.

How To Fix It — Take a look at your insights and analytics. If you have a good click-through rate but your conversion rate is down then your landing page might be the issue. But if you have a poor click through rate then your social media campaign isn’t working or your Call To Action (CTA) isn’t very strong.

If it’s not your CTA that is the problem then it could just be the information you’re providing. It may not be interesting enough to get people to stop and look into it.
